www.nawl.ca offers Information about what the National Association of Women and the Law (Canada) does, including new projects like Campus Caucuses (actually a revival of an old project). Infrequent posting, but a site clearly set up for web 2.0 feminist activism. We’re keeping an eye on this one.
The Women’s Court of Canada is a collection of lawyers, academics and activists who decided to try rewriting the Supreme Court of Canada’s equality jurisprudence. The first round of judgments have been published in the Canadian Journal of Women and the Law, but they are also available on this site , along with interesting blog posts and other tidbits.
Feminist Fridays are an opportunity to hear our colleagues talk about their work in a relaxed atmosphere. Commentators draw out the connections between presentations, and moderate a discussion with the audience.
Stay for some food and drink, be inspired, renew old connections and make some new ones. We look forward to seeing you.
